About the Role
We are hiring a Medical AR Specialist to follow up on outstanding claims, reduce denials, and ensure timely reimbursements from insurance companies.
Responsibilities
- Perform insurance follow-up on unpaid or denied claims
- Review EOBs/ERAs, identify payment discrepancies
- Resolve denials (CO, PR, OA, remark codes)
- Submit corrected claims, appeals, reconsiderations
- Keep detailed notes of all follow-up activity
- Work collaboratively with billing and coding teams
- Ensure daily productivity and aging targets are met
Requirements
- 1–3+ years in Medical AR / RCM
- Good understanding of CPT, ICD-10, claim forms (CMS-1500, UB-04)
- Strong knowledge of denial codes and payer guidelines
- Experience with insurance portals and RCM tools
- Excellent communication skills (especially for AR calling roles)
Preferred
- Experience with multiple specialties
- Ability to interpret medical documentation
- US healthcare experience is a strong advantage
